Throughout the years, Ben has traveled to dozens of Macintosh user groups to educate users about AppleScript and Automator, and help them to become more efficient. Automated Workflows, LLC welcomes the opportunity to provide AppleScript and Automator presentations to user groups in the greater Philadelphia area. If your group falls outside of this region, feel free to contact us to discuss the possibility of a remote presentation or to inquire whether we will be traveling in your area. Presentations available include the following:
- Introduction to AppleScript - This presentation focuses on the benefits of using AppleScript for workflow automation. It contains a brief overview of AppleScript, a list of benefits, return on investment information, some basic script writing, some AppleScript demonstrations, and a question and answer session. In addition, we provide groups with demonstration scripts for distribution to members.
- Introduction to Automator - This presentation focuses on using Automator in Mac OS X Tiger and higher. Topics covered include Automator's interface, building workflows, and triggering workflows.
